It is not just about stoping a quarry that is " HIDDEN" and away, or out of sight from the community. It is about a quarry that is being put up right in their back yards, literally!

One family of the towns folk can step right off their property and onto the quarry site (just yards from the families house) where they intend to do major blasting that will ultimately drive this pioneer family of the land, off the land they are stewards of. I can only do so much as much one can do, but I am satisfied that I myself did my part in life to help out and make a difference. YOU CAN DO THE SAME!!! PLEASE HELP ROCKWOOD & GUELPH EROMOSA TOWNSHIP BY DONATING TO THE  "CRC"  WHICH IS AN AMZING GROUP OF REPUTABLE INDIVIDUALS WORKING TOGETHER TO SAVE SOME OF ONATRIO'S MOST VALUED NATURAL RESOURCES-MEANING THEY CAN NEVER EVER BE REPLENISHED ONCE DAMAGED.

          I leave you with this thought, 

                 If this quarry, a quarry that plans to do some of the most intensive blasting known to man, (right beside 1000's of pioneer and new residence of Rockwood), does not go through and cannot legally mine the earths precious minerals. What will happen? This company will find somewhere else and will have little impact on there multi million dollar buisness. A SMALL INCONVENIENCE FOR THIS MASSIVE COMPANY.    But, if this quarry does go through!,  ROCKWOOD AND SURROUNDING AREAS WILL STRIVE NOT THRIVE! Land values will decrease for everyone, populations will decrease, small local businesess will suffer AND ULTIMATELY ONTARIO ITSELF WILL SUFFER A GREAT LOSS. This quarry is situated on A PROVINCIALLY SIGNIFICANT WETLAND AREA!! but somehow this company (WITH MORE RITES THEN CIVILIAN ONTARIANS IT SEEMS) is alowed to just come and ravish and rake the land of its precious beauty and natural state. Go for a hike here in Rockwood at the conservation area or experience their astounding small town hospitality.  You will see just how much will be greatly lost:( PLEASE HELP THE CRC IN THERE BATTLE AGAINST THE QAURRY WHICH WILL DEVISTATE ROCKWOOD & SURROUNDING AREAS FOREVER.
